Time Off

I know this post is LONG overdue...
For the last few months, I took a much needed "break" from photography as a business. There has been dramatic (but great) changes in my life and due to physical/emotional constraints, I needed to take some time for myself and my family.
I will be taking on clients again soon, but my dates, times and availability will be limited.
My site has been having technical issues which I have just been made aware of, so if you have attempted contact in the recent weeks with no response, I do apologize.

In case your wondering, there is a very big "little" reason I took time off... My family and I will be welcoming a baby girl to our family this summer. We are ecstatic, but so far this pregnancy has proven to be much more challenging than my last, which resulted in a lot of change! Nevertheless, we are thrilled to meet this little lady. :)

Recently S, who I know from years back, contacted me about doing a family session. When she told me her story and who all would be in the session, I was thrilled to take their photos! Ok, so maybe I am a bit biased calling this my favorite session-but can you blame me?
My little man had a ton of ideas of what to be for Halloween this year, but when he saw this costume in the store-he instantly wanted to be just like his dad (who served as a U.S. Marine). Dad added a few pieces of his old gear-and it really brought me back to the days of being a military family...
I have been wanting to do a session like this for years, so I am thrilled to have had the chance to pay tribute to my hubby-and make my boy feel super special in the process. :)

Meet 9 day old baby J, in all of his adorable, sweet, newborn goodness! Isn't he just precious?! As soon as I arrived at this session, it was clear-his parents are 100% completely in love with this little guy. There were many times throughout this session, during feedings or changing, where I just watched the interaction between mom, dad and baby... and boy was it beautiful. K and I go back.... high school days back. If you know anything about mommy-hood and life in general, you know that many times-even the closest of friends lose touch. Newborn must be 10 days or younger

Maternity:

Are you or someone you know expecting a little bundle of joy?

A 1-2 hour maternity session either ($100 value):
Outdoor session, at a nearby location
Indoor session at my home or yours
An online gallery containing at least 10 images
Option to purchase digital files or prints through the photographer

The details:

Must sign a model release
Recommended to be between 28-34 weeks
Option to include up to 4 immediate family members in the portraits

Family:

When was the last time you had your family portraits taken? Now is the time!

The session will consist of:

A 1-2 hour session for families of up to 6 people ($100 value)
An online gallery containing at least 10 images
